We were invited to speak and mentor at the Founder Institute of Miami on how to approach your vision and idea for a product. Our general approach is that ideas are worth very little. I can't remember who, but someone once said, if you don't believe that then go try to sell an idea. It's more important to focus on a problem people are experiencing and then how to solve it. Still though, any idea or problem you discovered means little without execution.
This presentation discussed how to start with a blank slate, identify problems people are experiencing, frame the right questions, narrow down your ideas, and begin to build an early stage business model canvas - what we call an idea canvas at this stage.
